it depends on the unit lecture as asylum said vary from 1 hr to 3hrs tute i've seen 2hrs before pracs for science usually go for at least 2hrs comp pracs are usually 1 hr

you should do that next time walk into a casino with a calculator, pen, paper and a book titled "stats on gambling" and start working crazy maths out on the table..and end up betting like..5bucks (during happy hr) =p
