    shit. i missed enrolment

The girls aren't going anywhere. They'll be wearing their awesomely hot clothes for weeks before they realise they don't need to look good at uni. :santa:

    shit. i missed enrolment

Because everybody shares your views on what is fun and what is not?

Do you have trouble of finding a part-time job and accommondation?

Wollongong + part time job = difficult. You're not the only one with difficulty finding a job, trust me.

    shit. i missed enrolment

Because it's boring and filled only with annoying clubs and societies telling you to join. People pay to join these societies, then have nothing to do with them. I only went to my faculty's o-day talk. Then I went home and enjoyed what was left of my holiday. :)

    Why are you still single?

I just didn't want to deal with the bullshit associated with going into a relationship. It's not just between two people, you know. My friends, my family, their friends and family also end up playing some part. Obviously we start, they get in on details later, but still, I'll rather not put up...

    Why are you still single?

I'm single because I choose to be. The reason will change to some self-reflective problems with me picking up once I choose to not be single and can't meet somebody nice. But until then, I'm single because I choose to be.

    Where should I be?

I didn't mean learn preliminary grammar. I meant learn the preliminary topic. Make sure you can talk about yourself, places of interest in Australia and so on. Don't assume you can, prepare. There's technically 200 kanji for Continuers. You're supposed to recognise all of them, but know how to...

    Where should I be?

In terms of topics, check the syllabus. You should know all of the preliminary topic.

anyone doing BUSS900 subject this year?

We don't have a lot of UOW students here. So chances are you'll be the only one doing 900-level subjects.

Explination of how double majors work

You hand in a form during the course of your time at UOW (there's no real rush). Until then, you just take subjects that are listed in both majors. For first year, ensure you take CSCI114/103/124 and not BUSS111. You must take the CSCI components since they're required for Network and Systems...

    basics help

は and が are perfectly fine. But meanings are still a little different. The way I learnt was how emphasis is done: わたしはティ*です。 <---- I am *Tim*. (For example, during my じこしょうかい). わたしがティ*です。 <---- *I* am Tim. (For example, somebody asks ティ*さんは*れですか?). While not always correct, look at it...

    New Webmail

It works. You're not doing it correctly.

    You know what to do.

    1st day uni question

Some subjects give you tests to see what your previous level is. None of your classes will.

I assume Movies include pornography too?

    !!!! Paid Careers !!!!

I hear if you're good, you can get a fair bit from prostitution.

2007 Federal Election - Coalition or Labor/Howard or Rudd?

You've changed my mind! How stupid I was to even think what I did! I think you need to spread your seed. The world needs people who can construct an argument so elegantly. Tell me, will you study law when you start uni? You should. If a judge finds against your client you can call him/her a...

    New UOW students of 07?

This man speaks the truth. If you don't, you probably will. :(

    Waivers for subjects

Yes. That's fine. Uh, you remember your SOLS password. What's the problem with Commerce then?
  20. poloktim

    Waivers for subjects

If your SOLS says the subjects listed (as in you've enrolled in the subjects over the Internet, and only recently forgot your password), then yes, you can wait. If, however, you haven't actually enrolled in anything, then go to uni tomorrow, get a new password, and do so.
