Just make sure that you'll be able to satisfy the prerequisites of the subjects you are going to take in semester 1 of 2nd year as they may include some 100lvl units which are available only in sem2.

What I meant was are the people who startes their degree in 2006 subject to the rules of asct305 from 2006 or 2008? I'm guessing its 2008 but there was someone on here who was if they were still under the 2004 rules of their degree or are the rules changed every year. Well now that I think...

Going from the online handbook "COMP125 or COMP115 or COMP155 or COMP165" used to be a pre-req for acst305 untill 2006 (including 2006). So does that mean that the people who will do this unit this year will need to have done some COMP unit (since they started in 2006)? handbook link...

Well only the actuaries do this subject, thats probably a wise choice by everyone else since its a very hard unit. The final is worth 90% and was very long last year. So i'd suggest you choose some other 4cp unit like econ200/201 or something.

Well you'll be doing it with all the 3rd year actuaries so that'll make it hard to get a good grade. Going from others who have posted on here its basically an extension of the elements section of acst101, i.e. there is no maths involved. The only reason i'd do it would be if I was greatly...

Congrats on getting that UAI. Your UAI isn't an indication of how smart you are. I know of a few people in ACST that got 98+ and have had to drop out of the course since they were failing, whilst people who just scrapped into the course are now getting Ds and HDs. So its all about the effort...

Eh....the OP didnt do the HSC they just want a template (like the one you've provided) so they can write in the marks the WISH to get and believe that by writing them there and looking at them everyday they will get them.

Results night was a lot more boring with BoS down. I managed to get Cr in all my subjects, so i'm happy since I wont have to repeat any of them :)
