i was trying to say, the lower the average mark of the test, the higher the scaling?
so if like many ppl got band 4ish, it gets scaled up coz its "too hard"... im hoping here =p
depends if theyve been really putting in the effort from the trials till now...
but in general, for most subjects, what your overall school based mark is, is pretty close to what you will get in hsc

i think past papers are more valuable than knowing the content. sure u need to know it to an extent, but applying it to scenarios is where most people go wrong.
it isnt rare to get over 55%... thats just tales to make students feel better?
its not a subject thats hard to understand. Once u learn it, revise it a bit, and your set.
the content is easy to lean and apply in most situations, just needs constant effort.
i got an avg of 96.6% school based...
DFD's are easily related to most simple systems. How many are you planning to make? as 1 DFD wont be enough for a farily large complex system (such as a rts).
the easiest way to relate DFD's to any problem is to try viewing the pseudocode aspect of it, not the actual programmed bit (i.e. VB)...

im wandering are you doing sdd accelerated? coz if you not, dont choose a hard project that will take up lots of time, coz yur gonna also have to concentrate on other subjects for hsc. really basic projects are enough, just put lots of effort into the...
