haha yeah this whole module was about our own personal response

lol there are 21 lines in a page (we used writing booklets for one of out exams for the trials, so i have one here). and i wrote about 6 pages for each and about 1000 words each essay? might be a little less, but its quality not quantity that counts!

you need to just focus on ONE reading - your own. if you've learnt other readings, you can say stuff about how they've shaped your reading, but DONT spend the whole essay saying "a feminist reading would view it as meaning this..." depends on the question, but you shouldnt really need to write...

I think that's ok. Or you could just say "King Lear, a play about the relationship between men and women, is still relevant today" I dunno, I just avoid 'labelling' my reading altogether, because it makes it seem less like I've just stolen someone else's reading hehe. But I think that's fine.

The text type will probably be for module a or b...probably either a: reflection speech feature article interview personal letter i think any other one would be really really lame....lol and it wont be a play, that would screw everyone up

That's correct :) Although you can sort of include it when you analyse it....like Lear's power is shown through these techniques, if that makes sense?

You don't need to talk about more than one reading. You ONLY have to talk about you own reading, and you can back it up with a production...such as - the play focuses on power, which is shown through blah production through blah techniques. But you won't be marked down at all if you don't...

I will always be cramming the night before :P But for these exams I feel like I should be stressed and I'm not really...I think we've done so many exams in the past that they don't really seem that big and scary any more :) 'Highly Strenuous Circus with a revolving door' haha that's awesome

haha 2/8 = 2 except the funny thing is that his probably isnt the most dumb mistake i've made in a maths exam...i know i've done worse :S

There is no way to get the marks back before all the hsc results come back...it comes out with the rest of the external/internal marks with every subject. But I think it's combined with the exam mark and there's no way of getting the mark for just the major work.

My box didn't have big red dots on it... But they got a red mark on part of mine that isn't actually washable which is really, really annoying. :angry: At least they're back now though :)

I finished the practical part a few weeks ago. I have drafts for pretty much all the doc except I haven't started the visual design section... Looks like I'll be finishing on the weekend but as long as I finish it ok that's all that matters :) Goodluck!
