You should be able to fit in a 3rd year math subject even if you're doing a comp sci degree, theres really little core comp subjects in 3rd year. It feels weird only taking one math subject this semester, I'm so used to stressing over 2 or 3 at a time :o But i had to take my geneds at some...

MATH2620 - Higher Complex Analysis MATH3411 - Information, Codes and Ciphers COMP3111 - Computer Networks and Applications GENC7002 - Getting Into Business GENS8004 - Ergonomics, Productivity and Safety I'm taking easy subjects this semester, need a break from the difficult ones.

My first year (2005) they had the exact same thing, break after week 3 at usyd (which wouldve been week 2 at unsw). 12 straight weeks without a break, it was hell i tells ya!

Why is there a protest against reducing the semester to 12 weeks? What exactly is the problem? Everyone ive spoken to is for the change :/
