yeah 30k works and its the correct way to avoid being dependent on banker pay, ie being a lifer my expenses per year is about 20k and doesnt include rent. this is sht like taxi to work, food (3 meals) and coffee and maybe 1 or 2 nicer meals per week throw another 10k in for alcohol obviously...
