Yea, I sent my RSVP by mail a few days after I got the first letter in the mail. Still no tickets though :confused: I'm guessing no-one's heard anything, coz I've asked a few people and they haven't got anything either. Two guests for me are my parents.

Has anyone received "tickets" to this thing yet, which we were apparently supposed to receive in the mail?

If I went to USyd, I'm guessing it'd still take me ~40-50 minutes (5 mins to the train station + 30 mins to Redfern + 10-15 mins walk to USyd or 5 mins by bus), so I'd save 15 minutes which isn't really much in the scheme of things...it wasn't really enough to convince me to go to USyd :p

Hey flamearrows, have you heard anything from the uni about the Scientia? Apparently we were meant to get info on the scholarship once we enrolled, but nothing yet so I'm just wondering... EDIT: And something slightly unrelated, but have you got any info in the mail about the Premier's Awards...

Probably ~50-55 minutes for me to get to UNSW (5 min walk to the station + 30 min train ride to Central + 15 min bus ride). By car, probably 25-30 mins using the Eastern Distributor, but obviously more expensive than public transport. The other day it took me 55 minutes to get into the uni...

Well, it's still a bit inconvenient seeing as our Commerce lectures will usually be around Upper Campus - but I'm looking forward to using the brand new facilities :).

^^ I wouldn't disagree with the fact that UNSW is bordering on a mini-Asia though, particularly in Med and Commerce I'd imagine (and a growing number in other faculties).

I sure hope you're right :) So even QMA/QMB aren't that difficult despite the statistics/probability overload? :p

:p I'm wondering the same thing. I'm not as concerned about Commerce (albeit, 80 for Commerce still sounds daunting), but more Law simply because its so subjective. Who knows whether the marker will love or hate what you write? Although, on the bright side, it allows for more open thought and...

Damn. Looks like another 1 hour journey into UNSW to get my UniPass :rolleyes: - I didn't get any docket with my Student ID yesterday.

Did they give you a UniPass when you got your Student ID? According to the UNSW IT page, you get one when you get your ID card, but I didn't get one lol. Re: the photo - haha, my face looks like it's been squashed inwards :p

Got my Student ID today...lol at the photo :p Btw. was I meant to get a UniPass at the e-spot when I picked up my Student ID coz the girl there didn't mention anything about it.
