    I cant believe how many hours of uni you have:eek: and I thought 22 hours was bad enough:rolleyes: Im working about 10-15 hours a week, and Im coping alright at the moment.

    Is it true that theyre asking more theory than mathematical questions now?

    The new syllabus for chemistry does contain a lot more theory and explaining rather than calculation type questions. Whether theory or maths questions are harder would depend on what you're better at - calculations or explaining, although some of the maths questions can be fairly hard...

    The excel book for bio is quite good because it follows the syllabus exactly and is easy to understand. Spotlight Biology was alright for the Human Story (I only used it for that topic so I dont know how the rest is), but it goes into a lot of detail sometimes. I used Heinman as well and I think...

    who thinks the computing notes booklet has evil powers? has anyone read their computing notes booklet for maths and found it extremely boring? Im trying to read mine, but I swear it some sort of power over me 'cause after a few lines my eyelids start to get really heavy, I start blacking out...

    besides the work, I think uni's alright. Its also a bitch to get to for me, 2 hours each way:mad1: but meeting new ppl is good, in every lecture/lab/tut Ive just been talking to anyone Im sitting next to, Ive met so many ppl Im forgetting names now :shy:

    you should try and do all the dot points as though they were actual questions, that way you'll be prepared for every possible question in the hsc. When you do short answer & extended response type questions, make sure you look at the verbs in the question and answer the question accordingly...

    That happens to me too. I hated this girl in primary school and now everytime I hear her name I just think of her and how much I still dont like her (btw Ive never met anyone else with her name, so I'll prob hate her name forever :rolleyes: )

    The reason for black hair & curliness being linked is because the genes for hair colour and curliness are on the same chromosome. So when the chromosomes split up, the black colour and the curliness genes stay together and so the child that inherits this chromosome has black curly hair...

    never tried, so Im not sure. STAY AWAY FROM SUGAR before exams, otherwise you get a sugar high (which can be useful) but it is soon followed by a sugar low which is very bad in exams. The same thing might happen with energy drinks, so just watch out

    we had about 4-5 classes a week, but we did the same topic the whole way through. Thats really weird how you do different topics, wouldnt you get confused?
