I bought a desk calendar early cause my mum wanted to give it to me for Christmas and also because I was concerned it would be sold out by sales time. Otherwise, you can save heaps buying late. edit: wooo 500 posts!

    Jessica .

It's some Indonesian school. On the Distinguished Achievers, almost every single student there is listed for Mathematics :S I don't know why their last names aren't listed, but their website says that they live "to Touch The Heart, The Head and The Hand" of my child.

A good problem to have... some advice?

Don't choose journalism just because you got a UAI high enough for it. What do you want to do more, journalism or teaching? What would you value more?

    School too girly?

I didn't say english should be compulsory. Just that I agree with maths being optional.

    School too girly?

Hahahahaha. You think maths isn't compulsory because it will offend women's groups? Maths isn't compulsory because if we're not going into a career where maths is needed, the stuff we learn in 7-10 is adequate. It has nothing to do with gender.

    Society and Culture...what happened

 Why was it brought down so much? Would it be because the highest exam mark was 93? The internal mark my teacher submitted was 90 and that was brought up to 92. Your teacher should have your PIP back by now. I picked mine up on Friday. Give your teacher a call and see if you can go...

    Burn Baby Burn

Uh, why? Although it was a waste of money when you could have resold them.

    My hand hurts so bad

Yes you sicko. Like everyone has said: don't hold your pen too tight and don't press too hard on the paper. If you normally print, write in cursive. Don't worry too much about neatness. What pen you use helps a lot too. Gel pens are good if you're right handed.

    Parents Reaction to UAI marks

My parents were extremely happy, although they have no idea how the HSC and UAI work Maybe it's because I had a psycho attack during the exam period because I thought I wouldn't get into uni I'm still kind of surprised at my mark
