sabotage goes on at our school already. i was saying a speech the other day in class and had my phone in my pocket and it was on ( i know i know stupid me)and the guys at my school took it in turns to msg me so i stuffed up majorly ( phones are so not allowed at school and yeah so i lost marks)

^^ yeah i would suggest not gripping pen so hard and pushing paper down then! nah english and essay exams are hard, you just have to pause once in awhile and shake hand ( think about what you are going to write next as you shake hand)

my friends that did ancient just said they wrote notes like someone asid above. they didnt do it like chemistry where you follow the sylbuss as with ancient the dot points are more "broad" not the same s something like chem where they are little and you just follow them.

um for modern and anicient it really depends on whether you are into modern stuff or ancient stuff basiclly. i find ancient to be quite challenging actually, but that may be just me 13 units - if you like your subs and are prepared to work hard is okay

you said you arent struggling with the workload, so just keep going and as the time comes closer if you still arent struggling you may like too conside 14. if you do 14, make sure you like all your subs and stuff though obviously

yeah so year 11 doesnt count in terms of marks gained, but it does count in terms of the content and what you learn ( so you can go over year 11 work before the hsc and be all good)

shoulder pain is reallt bad though i mean it is normal to get a sore hand, as you have been writing for ages but a killing shoulder just sux ( i have that prob too) and unfortunetely havent worked out how to fix it
