Sydney property investment guru Stephanie Brennan has $2.3 million portfolio aged 24

Re: Sydney property investment guru Stephanie Brennan has $2.3 million portfolio aged anyone with a mortgage is in 'significant' debt. But that debt becomes a moot point when your property values increase 20% in a year. If you can't service that debt worst thing for you is to sell it and keep...

WAM requirements to exchange to other universities.

some of the wam requirements just seem way out of proportion to how good that university even is. UBC law isn't even that good and their WAM requirement is over a first class honours. lol top kek. I just find it weird the WAM requirement for law on exchange is higher than a first class...

    Need some Advice!!

engineering alone will pretty much get your foot in the door with a lot of jobs. Engineering, law and medicine are degrees not for the faint hearted. There will be many tears, sleep missed, social life gone. It is for the strong and will weed out the weak.

Do you support a Minerals Resources Rent Tax?

what a lot of companies should have done was to sell out while they were high. lots of aussie companies kept thinking the price will go on up forever. Mining is such a small portion of GDP and employment it doesn't really effect the economy that much anyway.

Do you support a Minerals Resources Rent Tax?

no they're running it at a loss in most cases. it's most of the smaller companies that have lower profit margins that get screwed over.

Do you support a Minerals Resources Rent Tax?

mining corporations are fucked now. all the resource prices are plummeting.

    Same sex marriages

polygamy is a funny thing in aus, since bigamy is still a criminal offence in NSW and the commonwealth, but having 6 de facto partners is a-ok.

    Same sex marriages

Because secretly somebody doesn't want sterile people to marry.

    Same sex marriages

PhD in latin or linguistics would be one. You can get an academic job studying anything if you got a nifty enough powerpoint to convince a uni to fund your research. I even read a paper on how the israeli gay-porn industry is ignoring the plight of the Palestinians by ommitting Palestinian...

ever heard of surrogacy? End of the day they're still producing a child it's just who gets custody.

    i missed an exam

you should be able to get special consideration and say you weren't feeling well on the day and woke up with a headache.

    Same sex marriages

Because it's the commonwealth that governs acts of 'marriage'. The obligations are exactly the same including child custody. There was a case in 1994 where a lesbian couple had a kid through IVF. They later split and the one who didn't birth the child is refusing to pay child support. Court...

    Same sex marriages

Because they're practically already existing? You already have de facto and registered relationships that have the same legal obligations as marriage. In terms of familial legal obligation (separation, child support etc) there isn't a difference.

    Can i get accepted?

UNSW only seems to look at your A levels and nothing else. If you have AAA for your A levels you should be fine. Scholarships are practically non-existent. If you scored that high how come you're not applying to oxbridge?

    Same sex marriages

Are you daft? In ancient greco-roman history it was common for a man to love a younger man. It's called a pederst relationship and it's pretty much the same as marriage. Of course it's a rights issue. Arbitrarily denying a portion of a population to a legal contract that is abled to be enjoyed...
