If you want international & domestic recognition, the 2 unis in NSW to go for are UNSW and USYD. Take a look at the links. They may be a little dated, but the same universities which are dominant in the fields listed are still so today...

i think the obvious answer would be that they're interested in teaching. some people value job satisfaction more than $$$. it's a short life, why not spend it doing something you enjoy?:)

It mostly comes down to the individual in the end. If you aren't suited for a teaching job, all the training and qualifications couldn't help you. Some of the teachers at my school don't have teaching degrees either - some teachers can be hired straight out of industry. eg. my business studies...

Yes, I'm definitely considering it. I still have to check up on how honours w/ com/eco works. Honours will stretch the degree to 5 yrs. Is it a HD or credit avg that is required at most unis???:confused:
