this is a copy and paste from my other post.. Sydney uni and Melbourne Uni are pretty much considered the top law schools in Australia, though UNSW would not be far behind (especially at the undergrad levels). OVERALL, USYD vies with the ANU and the Uni of Melbourne for the mantle of the...

The subject I hate most is ...

i completely agree with you! english teachers are so biased. how can one judge whether a student's idea is worth 18/20, 10/20 or whatever. every person's perspective is different, and therefore ppl will interpret texts in different ways. it seems that ppl are penalised for having different views...

    sydney v unsw

hi.. i think that law is stronger at USYD, but UNSW has more of a business focus. Sydney uni and Melbourne Uni are pretty much considered the top law schools in Australia, though UNSW would not be far behind (especially at the undergrad levels). Overall, USYD vies with the ANU and the Uni of...

    Australian National University (ANU)

I've heard that the ANU (as does UNSW) has a strong finance program - which is why I'm going to the ANU. i plan to do Bcom/LLB. the ANU also has a bachelor of finance - but too bad it can't be done in conjunction w/ another degree.. i applied for the 'ANU National Undergraduate Scholarship'...

passed-out: Are you after a spcialised degree? here's an excerpt from an email to me from a person did a BSc at the ANU.. she's now at Oxford. Choice of university comes down to a lot of different factors. Personally I think that the ANU offered me as much or more than any other...

RE American unis this post might be a bit late, but you still might find it helpful.. this is from a friend's email to me.. "I found that Americans tend to spend more time in the classroom during lecture and spend less time doing self-study and no time in tutorials. Two Australians I met...

    Combined Law

U syd isn't the most prestigious uni for law in Australia. It is more likely to be Melbourne Uni. I think that you shouldn't be so fixated on law at USYD. There are other unis which are just as good as (or better than) USYD. then again it depends on what you want to major in.
