i completely agree with you! english teachers are so biased. how can one judge whether a student's idea is worth 18/20, 10/20 or whatever. every person's perspective is different, and therefore ppl will interpret texts in different ways. it seems that ppl are penalised for having different views...

sorry! i was thinking of another degree :) yes they do offer it.. what area of the finance industry are you interested in? i hope to get into banking some day.. maybe i should do Bfinance/llb? do you think it would be too specialised?

I've heard that the ANU (as does UNSW) has a strong finance program - which is why I'm going to the ANU. i plan to do Bcom/LLB. the ANU also has a bachelor of finance - but too bad it can't be done in conjunction w/ another degree.. i applied for the 'ANU National Undergraduate Scholarship'...

i have the same prob too... most of my friends plan to stay in Sydney. It's hard to leave them behind, but you have to do what's right for YOU i guess. just have to think abt the long term.. it'll be worth it in the end.

U syd isn't the most prestigious uni for law in Australia. It is more likely to be Melbourne Uni. I think that you shouldn't be so fixated on law at USYD. There are other unis which are just as good as (or better than) USYD. then again it depends on what you want to major in.
