    freefall

but gravitational field strength varies inversely with altitude...And even then, I fail to recognise your argument.

    freefall

What exactly do you mean by "locally inertial frame"??? Never heard of that before...

    freefall

Gravitational forces are infinite in their expanse, as are all the other known forces. Hence it is IMPOSSIBLE to be in a perfect inertial frame of reference...if such a thing can be said...

The skunks who get a UAI of 100

Ok, I need to make a few affirmations here: Firstly, Lazarus, you're probably right, as I may have conceded in that debate we had previously, BUT - it shouldn't be done that way - the system is far from perfect, which is what I'm saying when I say it's unfair. And Survivor, I was speaking...

    Experimental prac

Well we did the "accelerometer" experiment. You make one simply by dangling a mass (pendulum) from a movable trolley. At the end of the trolley, a string with another mass is attached. Hold the string over a table and let the mass go, this will cause the trolley to move. Then you observe that...

    radioisotope

They also ask how radioisotopes are formed (i.e. cyclotrons, nuclear reactors...knock knock, remember our HSC???) ugh, think I got most of that one wrong but, meh.

The skunks who get a UAI of 100

It isn't fair that ESL gets scaled better than Standard when the content is just so fcuking easy. Not that I should really be complaining, since I did advanced, but I have friends who did standard and suffered over the work for nothing - they ended up with 60's and 70's. I think you, (ESL...

    UNC Med

OI! UNCLE never actually gave me any feedback about the result of my interview performance, despite them saying they WOULD...unless of course they were referring to the main round offers, which is very lame/annoying....

The skunks who get a UAI of 100

ESL gets scaled up if you're in the 99th percentile...which is very unfair, but check the statistics (table A2). *grumbles*

    uni joke

It's not really funny or original, but it's funny to see this guy try to be funny. ^~peace~^

    pretty please?

Yes, but my point was that they won't ask you to quote results. If they don't provide a table or any data, then they'll be looking for qualitative answers. 'cause there's simply no way of verifying whether and answer is "right" or not.

    pretty please?

If you have too much sugar and too much yeast, you're likely to produce a high amount of ethanol. This will, however, kill the yeast... btw, for the HSC, you don't need to remember any numerical results. Usually they'll give you a table of results and ask you to analyse em somehow.

Yeah, I do agree in that regard - SuccessOne likes to tell a lot of bullshit stories in their responses. lol

The Planck VS Einstein thingio is so bullshit. When I was preparing for my HSC, I couldn't find more than 3 points: 1) Einstein was a Jew/ Planck was a nationalist, thus supporting the Nazis 2) Einstein believed in harnessing the power of science for the good of humanity/ Planck supported...

    Possible Questions for Frontline

Editorials are simple. Think about a feature article, it's almost the same. The editor addresses a usually controversial issue concerning the general public/politics/world issues, etc. by providing his opinion on analysis of events. There's no need for columns in any text type - in fact, the...

Which is the best uni for business/commerce/economics?

Poor UTS...if you stand near the pharmacy complex/quadrangle entrance in Usyd, you can see that they're within firing range from eachother. I bet they have secret cannon fights at night or some such.
