wat 100 uai ppl up to and wanna do

Yes, but it's not as though he's the highlight of Homebush alumni, but every time there's an open day, they show him off always cuz our teachers are a bit obsessive.

    Tutoring?

Ahh... good ol' Lofts. But truthfully people, if you wanna score well in chemistry, it seems the easiest way is to go through the syllabus dotpoints and make sure you MEMORISE everything - TUTORS are useless.

    predicted UAIs and interviews

Hmm...btw my constipated friend, have you done the interview yet?

    predicted UAIs and interviews

Heh, that still remains to be seen. I personally believe UNSW has preferences on 2nd and 3rd UMAT sections only and that predicted UAI is irrelevent. Still, doesn't hurt to tell your principal to predict high because truthfully- based on past statistics, unless you're getting 99+ for your...

    How to give good orals?

Go in, intoxicated with alcohol or some sort of thrill pill - believe me, when you wake up, the results will be rather surprising.

am i able to get 99+?

English is key. Stuff that up (get below about 85) and you can forget about 99+

what is everyone planning to do next year...include your uai as well

Medicine @ UNSW (last year, most entrants got above 99.00) failing that, Vetsci @ Usyd (last year cutoff was 98.00) My UAI = 99.10

So who else is planning on going here?

Hehe, sorry I shouldn't have said "no one". I'm not going, but best of luck to you if you make it in.

    what's my school ranked?

I don't think they grant EAS for english problems...which is why they have ESL. Furthermore, the list only acknowledges the number of band 6s, which makes it so stupid. And my point about us having poor english skills is valid, since ppl find it very hard to achieve a band 6 in any english...

highest uai with no band 6's

You don't seem to understand, the rural folk argument was part of the scaling/UAI debate...blah, never mind (you guys (BoS) are probably in on the conspiracy with the rest of those capitalist scum...)

Who got a crap UAI? I did :(

    *walks in...walks out*

highest uai with no band 6's

Excellent. By this, I take it I won the debate!? MUA HAW HAW HAW HAW HAW! Kiss my chudy.

highest uai with no band 6's

I could only provide you with what I was told by one such person (you could validate this by looking up statistics - if the BOS/UAC regime ever releases such figures...capitalist pigs they are): He got 72.25 doing general maths, adv eng, IPT, physics, sdd. (all band 5s from memory) EDIT...
  16. C

highest uai with no band 6's

No, what I'm getting at by that is that high UAIs are unobtainable by your average rural folk because they don't have access to high-scaled courses. As a result, their marks may be high in courses like general maths or standard english, but it just won't be enough for medicine or law or whatever...

highest uai with no band 6's

Ok, tell me how they judge which course contains more "academically able" students when people do a variety of different subjects?! You can't simply judge a course based on how well MOST people tend to go in their other subjects when everyone is different. - THIS is why I assumed UAC was simply...

highest uai with no band 6's

Lazarus, I disagree that there is a so called compensated balance between "hard" and "easy" subjects. The data is right in front of you, yet you fail to see that my friend clearly did well in industrial tech. He was undoubtedly placed in a higher percentile than I for my corresponding subject...

highest uai with no band 6's

Ugh, I'm wasted on you people. I am doing a lot of correlation to make my points, but it's only fair, because I'm speaking practically, not theoretically. Whatever your definitions are, I would like to bring to your attention that Industrial technology courses are scaled down from high...
