i'm gunna be working on a casual basis with the good guys. first day of paid work this sunday :D. not sure how much i will be getting on average per week. but probably would be somewhere around ~150. other than that i will be getting $51 for 3 hrs of tutoring aswell during the week, starting...

oh ok....so they compare my 3u mark with marks of "3u students" who scored similar 3u mark as me, and the 2u mark they scored is what i would have possibly got, working on an average.

nah it works for asymptotes aswell. it helped for me for curve sketching in 3u/4u. hmm....actually i dont really know what you mean.

hmm....i'll show you a trick i used. well it made more practical sense to me. "as y got infinitely big, x would be nearly 1 or something" all you do in sub in a large number, such as 100, for say x in y=x/(x+1). it would be a number close to 1, thus the asympotote is at 1. a bit shifty in...

i like the way of using limits, it always made more sense. for y = x/(x+1), remember that you can never divide thru by 0. in the case where x=-1, you would have a situation where 1/0, which cannot be. so x cannot be -1
