is there any where that you could still pick one of these source cards up? i couldn't be bothered lining up for a diary and a card i presumably didn't think we'd need, if past years were anything to go by. i know the collonade (downstairs) doesn't accept student cards.

there was a fire drill at the civil eng building yesterday as well. good thing is that we got to skip class, and even better for the smarter (re: smarter as long as there's no fire in the future) people that skipped the drill and went to eat :)

dude.. there were A LOT more than 150 students there lol. yeah i'm also waiting a little while before i get my ID card. there seems to be a huge queue there every hour of the day >_<

yeah that planet earth lecturer was pretty cool. i came in lateish so i had to sit at the front right next to the other lecturer who kept on laughing at david's lame jokes

it was pretty shit. was way bored during those 3hrs of lectures and all those 1st years were way too cheery... should be good in a week or two. btw, why the hell was uni so packed today? next monday will probably have us see half the amount of students that we saw today

you don't need the card at all - your student card does everything you need to do.

There's a bus stop right near biomed/medicine that has a central express service, which runs pretty much only during uni hours.

no, the bus stop (1) along anzac parade are for slower buses (ie. they stop at a million stops before you get to uni) from central. anzac parade does have an express bus to central tho. the express bus from central comes from the top left hand corner of the map and turns left into high street...

i don't think you'd get over 100k with 5 years experience with civil. i'd say you'd get about 80k, and these days, 100k is pretty much the highest most people go in this profession. though it does vary a lot with employer and self-worth and skill...
