still the budget for shows like Amazing Race and survivor are about $1mill US/ep. Its relatively cheaper than that of Dramas and comedies which cost twice or 3 times that. Still US networks get much more money/ ratings point than aust networks. There's 15 times the viewers!

yep they import concepts. Sometimes if they like a drama/comedy series they'll copy it but use americans.

they're still in NZ. They came to Sydney in The Amazing Race 2 where they did a roadblock and bridge climb on the arch of the Harbour Bridge. Costs $100 if you want to do it.
