I beg to differ on the cost-effectiveness... When Dell put on the specials, which is like always, the cost is very attractive (provided you don't need performance). Try and beat it yourself, it may be doable, but difficult.

Okay. 6600GT is the better version of the 6600. For your system, I recommend the 6600GT, and not the plain 6600 card. For your info, 6600GT's run faster since they use DDR3 memory, even though they may have less memory than some of the 6600s.
