ESL scales better than English Standard. if you can do ESL, do ESL as doing ESL rather than english standard is better in terms of UAI. and what i meant by difficulties at uni was maybe you will encounter some difficulties in writing reports or assignments.

the deadline for main round offer change is till 27th of Jan, so tomorrow. maybe accept the main round offer just in case and then change preference for late round offer. it is possible to get accepted. even if this does not work, you can transfer after first year.:)

what are you planning to study at uni? if the course you want to do requries any 2 units of maths, don't drop it. if not, and if you find hard to keep up, then drop it:)

read the text and practice finding techniques as quick as possible. it will save your time a lot:) and practice essay and creative writing

ESL scales good. i don't think there is particular disadvantage, but you might encounter some difficulties at uni.

coz it is for HSC!! teacher need to go through all syllabus work for HSC and then it is enough. good solid teaching on HSC work is enough.
