zambrotta nesta cannavaro and bonera, the 1st 3 would be picked in alot of "world XI's" ... and bonera is one the most promising young defenders in the world, then theres chiellini, oddo, bazagli.. put gattuso infront of them you have a pretty formidable defence... in theory... real still...

    Favourite soccer team!?

if you have no geographical allegiance with a team as most people here don't, how else will one choose a team to follow other than by appreciation of their play? This more often than not is directly proportional to the team's performance. As Rayanaldo said, a band wagon jumper is one who follows...

you said they have failed or yet to fulfil potential, i can argue that smiths, ronaldo and richardson have fulfilled as much as they can be expected within 1 season... you cannot compare richardson who is basically a reserves player at utd to beckham who was the face of the team....right now...

    The Ashes

hussey isnt in the party, brad hodge is, but the way he scored 30 odd runs off 100 something ballsagainst that county side doesnt exactly instill me with confidence kaspa is prone to crack under pressure big time and i think he'll be dropped for macgill at old trafford. lotsa stupid shots...

smith was one of the better utd players when he played...djemba thank god isnt with us anymore...i wouldnt say ronaldo failed or didnt live up to potential - he is at exactly where ppl expected his level to be.... and richardson - he's performed above expectations if anything. so out of the 5...
