the most strenuous part is getting to the booth without being accosted by people trying to get you to vote for them. start working on evasion tactics/roundabout routes to polling places asap.
You go to a polling booth on campus on polling day and fill out your ballot paper (which is preferential).
What's the deal with eligibility? Do you have to be an access card holder this year?

don't know much about colleges but i can answer:
this is an excel spreadsheet which works out how you are classified. type your postcode into the red box and hit 'enter', if the result is anything other than 'major cities of australia' then you can apply for a rural-area scholarship.
It has consistently been ALP policy and Julia Gillard mentioned that it was on the agenda a couple of months ago, but there hasn't been any legislation yet.

rc mills building. it's the art history and theory library, completely silent and filled with pretentious macbook-using ARHT students, but there's usually desks free to work at.

yeah, they do need to increase the capacity in fisher. there are occasional plans to reorganise everything to create more desk space and increase the number of computers and areas for group work, but nothing ever seems to come of it.
