I heard from a friend of mine, he preferred to go to usyd, because he reckons people from his country recognised usyd more than unsw. He's chinese, and going for commerce there. So is it usyd or it's commerce?

Just out of some interest, how hard is university maths compared to high school maths? And if someone could tell me how hard the electives of UNSW maths is, especially for courses like software engineering (which im most likely to end up in)... Right now, this seemed to be the most perfect...

You'll be refreshed with them uni maths right? And since doing 4unit maths will mean high UAI most of the time, so i guess we're all going to uni.. I for one will try solve the riemann hypothesis in the 3-5 years time at UNSW :p

Hmm... Under my curiousity, i was wondering, under what conditions do you have to be under to travel to univeristies free (under public transport)? With that being said, for a citizen aged under 18 years old, would he/she be able to travel free under public transport? how about over18s...

back then when I did my preferences, i did not see that this course has a 94.9 cutoff mark at the UAC book. But now that my crap (94.8) UAI came out, i saw that number, and it got me thinking. What's so special about usyd soft-eng? that number is even higher than the uts and unsw soft-eng...

im missing by 0.10 UAI to go to usyd by last year's cut-off, but im trying :p.
