it is very unfair. i have a question, regardign this. are uni's increasing the number of full fee paying students, which in effect will lower the number of people on hecs? is this why there were protestors at some uni's?

bah that was hopeless really.....i was at the uni for about an hour i just took all booklets and went to macquarie centre and picked up a tie for my formal:D getting there and back is really boring, close to 1 hr on the bus.

yes, that is correct. it is done to give a 'better' comparison for what the student may get in the hsc. and dash we have had 5 assessments in total, 10+10+10+40+30. prac test+portfolio+half yearly+trials+portfolio2

well said:) although going to a school that is much more academically minded, would improve the marks of many student, i know it would mine. the competition amongst peers and the general consensus of doing well in the hsc is a big bonus.
