Materazzi has not elaborated on what he did say, but one report suggested he responded with: `I'd rather take the shirt off your wife'. Best. Ever.

Portugal (POR) 47% Italy (ITA) 41% Germany (GER) 4% Argentina (ARG) 3% France (FRA) 3% Brazil (BRA) 2% That's for most entertaining team. I find that unbelievable to be honest, that Germany and Argentina got such a low percent.

Any rumours about what Materazzi said are just rumours, nobody could know other than Materazzi and Zidane. And what a terrible way to end his career, nothing can justify that.

Clearly a dive, next to no contact. But yes, gotta have balls to take a penalty like that

The Italian president of football I think it was said that if Italy win the match fixing scandal should be forgotten and unpunished hahaha. For all those who didn't know, the final verdict and punishment will be given the day after the final

Umm Ronaldo is a lot worse of a perpetrator than anyone mentioned there, and although yes, Henry did make a meal of Carvalho's touch, he still made contact enough to concede a penalty. Ronaldo goes down every which way if there's a player within a metre of him.

Well I think that he only misses one premiership game, so if he gets some time off the bench and does a few good things he should be back (hopefully)

I don't think Robben deserved a place in it, didn't really do much in my opinion. I think Ze Roberto is only in there because Brazil made it to the quarters and they needed someone from Brazil in the team. Perhaps the same with Terry? Haha and what the hell was Ronaldo trying to do with that...

Ballack is not playing against Portugal due to a leg injury, and it's old news but Nesta isn't playing in the final.

Breciano was tipped to move to Palermo, not sure what happened to that. Also the modesty battles have begun, with Del Piero stating that France are favourites. I hate it when players do this, as when they win they just go OMG LYK WE WERE UNDERDOGS!! It's utter crap and nobody actually cares...

I completely agree, however Portugal seem to take it to a new level. Rather then trying to get a goal against France, they tried to gain sympathy from the referee and gain a penalty in order to get a result. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wW7J0OIXCro&mode=related&search= Found that as well...
