    Sydney Swans 2005 AFL Premiers!

I don't know how ANYONE could see that as the commentator put it "one of the greatest AFL Grand Finals in history". It was awful!

I think they should introduce something like the FA Trophy (Conference and below) for the Championship and the two lower Leagues. Maybe transfer the League Cup to something like this, because it's a pretty useless competition, just a smaller FA Cup.

When Del Horno was signed I thought Bridge would go somewhere, and Liverpool was the obvious choice. They're without a really solid left back, who better than Bridge? Although Warnock hasn't been too bad lately, they could do better.

What a joke the AFL tribunal is!

No. For one not EVERYBODY is a friggin Swans fan. Not everyone on this forum is from Sydney. Not everyone likes Barry Hall. And some people (like me) think that some things are totally stupid, like this decision.

What a joke the AFL tribunal is!

It's not because it hurt. It's because he actually did it. Whether this "punch" effects the player is of no question, the fact that Hall did it means he should get suspended. The tribunal has to treat each ban the same, whether it's in round 12 or the Grand Final. Hall was just stupid in doing...

When Gary's back (expected October 1st, but I think he could come back this weekend) Man Utd. will have a very respectable back line up. O'Shea, Ferdinand, Silvestre, Neville is all good in my books.

He has two perfectly good left backs in Del Horno and Bridge, but since Del Horno was playing well before he got injured I doubt we'll see Bridge have that position for a while.

Nah, Mourinho uses four defenders. He's been using Carvalho lately only because Del Horno is injured.

Well at least Robben is doing something now, he's the only spark Chelsea has at the moment.
