Nah, your school ranking won't affect your mark. As long as you get good marks, you'll be fine.

I thought that too, but then if they used that logic, they would have to award UAIs to the leavers.

Indeed it is. Only 2 marks to make up over the last 45% of the course, which encompasses 2 assessments.
