I haven't taken any days off post trials, simply because there is only a few weeks left and then thats it......no more school ever again
don't want to waste any of the ones left
Just to put in perspective the kind of crap we do in class at the moment:
english - watching lord of the rings...
Its definetly better to be ranked 3rd in 2 unit then 1st in general
I have always wondered whether the relative differences in marks that affect rankings matter......my guess is no but the teachers at school say they do
4 people got 100% in my school for the independent.......average was around 65%........there was a large group at around 90 then a bigger one at 60% and the other half failed
I got 76%
I semi did it and thought it was easy compared to the Catholic trial, not many tricks just the standard stuff
Question 7 was probably the hardest one, question 10 seemed very easy compared to the usual 2 unit later questions
got solutions?
I started going to the library starting from Monday.......it is the only way
For the trials I studed in the last minute.......literally because I tried to study at home and it simply doesn't work
By going to the library for a few hours after school I have done the equivalent of a months work...
If your using public transport best way is to catch a train to epping station and then catch the 288 bus to Macquarie uni
its in the epping/north ryde/eastwood area
in terms of course information i found the open day rather pointless but I had a fun day (mainly due to the free food/drinks at UTS :D) and was good to have a look around the place.......the big regret is I totally forgot to go and say hello to the BOS admins, where were you guys??
USYD looks...
I think silly mistakes are unavoidable especially in extension 1 where you are working at a fast pace
the trick is to make sure you write down your working so that you only lose the 1 mark or so when you make a silly mistakes
I am a bit superstitious but only minor things.......on the day of paper 1 english i am planning to
burn my hair
sacrifice the dog
write the english exam using blood instead of ink
but apart from that i dont really believe in the supernatural
What happens if you get into a course, do it for a few weeks, and you absolutely hate it
What are your options then? Are you forced to stick with it or can you transfer into another one of your preferences?
