Re: 2009 First Year Macquarie Students.
Is it better for lectures to come before tutorials? Logically it would be but yeah...I saw that for a few of my subjects a tutorial was offered before the lecture and it made me wonder. :bomb:

I'm notorious for stealing drinks, it's a good tip. And bah! I demand a free drink. Come on, lonesome soon to be over worked student here! And it'd be a good welcome wagon-esque thing.
Re: 2009 First Year Macquarie Students.
I visited the campus like a month ago and that was the first thing I thought of - bitchin' hide and seek. 44 Home never had the same appeal.
Re: 2009 First Year Macquarie Students.
Well if you see some short, brunette, vague, dazed and confused looking girl that'll be me. I might be possibly rocking back and forth in a corner some where or trying to get people to join me in the most awesome game of hide and seek ever.
Re: 2009 First Year Macquarie Students.
I'm doing the very cliched worrying over not making friends, picking the wrong degree and units and having a demon possessed work load amount.
Re: 2009 First Year Macquarie Students.
I'm doing a BA Dip Ed with a focus on history and then french for my teaching areas. Though I might change - I'm so indecisive.
Re: 2009 First Year Macquarie Students.
I deferred for a year but I decided to apply for enrollment midsemester. I have that orientation jazz next month. I probably didn't explain that very well. As for tutes right now I have an AHST101 now Thursday at 3 and AHST102 Tuesday at...11 I think.
I visited the campus a little while back before applying for midsemester enrollment and the lake was quite whoresome oh and the ducks were freaking cute.
Re: 2009 First Year Macquarie Students.
Huzzah! I'm preeeeetty sure I got into MQ for midsemester enrollment. Though because I deferred...it seemed a little odd hence the only "pretty sure" thing. I've already picked out my units :haha:
HIST114
AUST100
EDUC106
AHST101
AHST102
Ahhhh! I want to...
I'm in limbo right now with my job, they have no shifts for me so I haven't worked there for about 4 months now, yet they keep saying when business picks up they'll call me in. Biznitches, I want my hair done for free again :(
I did the beginners course last year and what I found helpful was watching DVDs I already had but putting it on the French language setting. La Vie En Rose and Priceless were pretty good French movies too.
Does anyone else have a massive thing against jeans? I just can't wear them. I used to only ever wear them for work once a week, ah the joys of working in a hair salon and coming home with bleach stained jeans <3
