yh fax my mate got the same marks as me in other subs expect with an extra 3 marks in 3u and 4u...... however i got about 1 mark more than him in chem and still ended with the same ATAR.

Tbf it's all hard work cos it ain't an aptitude test. The higher 99s get very little wrong throughout year 12 Ig. From what I observer they aren't necessarily born smart.... Just that they know how to use their strengths very very well
tbf DUX matters as you can get a AAA scholarship from UNSW, but 2nd and 3rd not so much I reckon, unless they are high atars like 98 or 99 in which case you can get an outright business scholarship from Macquarie University.

nah but like there is not ucat for usyd so understandable. UNSW med and some other med unis which use atar require like a bare minimum of 99.5 to be barely competitive... although a .75 is preferable!
