Basically I want to become a science teacher (mainly biology and/or chemistry) and the university I'm planning on going to is UTS. I know there isn't a course that is structured around the HSC science courses or the prelim ( and earlier years like Year 7, 8 and so on). Which makes me confused...
There's an info day for UTS and I still don't know what course to finalise as my first preference, and I can only go by train to UTS. The problem is by 1st Jan they won't be selling paper tickets anymore, so I gotta get an OPAL card, what do I do?
I plan on becoming a science teacher (including teaching Biology) and I was wanting to do a science degree then after completing the course, do Masters of Teaching. What science course should I do? Bachelor of Science? Medical Science? Biomedical science?
In Year 12 there are various resources (notes, past papers, etc) for a student to use and basically relies on these until the end, how about for uni? Are there like notes or something? Or just textbooks? What does person rely on in uni to get good marks?
So I know that if you're doing a course similar to another course at a different uni you can transfer credit points, how about if say you're doing engineering and then wish to transfer to education? Are you still able to transfer credit points or do you start fresh?
Basically for this question (and most other questions), my answers are in decimal place, and the answer is different, but if you were to put their answer in the calculator, it'll be the same as mine. Will I still get the answer right if I wrote it out like how I did in my book?
For what values of k does x^2 - kx + 4 = 0 have no real roots? I know how to find k but I don't know how to write my final answer, the final answer for this question is - 4 < K < 4, but how do I know to write it like this?
People say it's not worth repeating ATAR as there are many alternative pathway to uni, but what if you got a really bad ATAR? Like in the 50s, no uni is going to accept that, and if you do end up going TAFE, isn't as if you're already repeating your HSC? But it's actually better you're repeating...
I just need someone to explain to me, what's percentile, HSC mark and scaled mark mean? What's the raw mark in this case or what's the aligned mark? How do I know what raw mark is needed?
I know this may seem like a reaaaaallly easy question, but I need someone to explain the inequality, how is -3 < x? When the parabola cuts -3 exactly, and the same thing for the rest of the inequality, I just need someone to explain the overall inequality.
I need help with this question, how did they rearrange the equation? Because I don't even know how they got the equation in the first line of the solutions.
