I'm happy with my ranks but at the same time kinda worried for the strength of our science cohorts. I came 1st in chem at 70% =1st in physics with 63% and 3rd in Biology with 65% however I am content insofar as I didn't study for the exams. But for the HSC ITS ON BABY!!
I reckon it comes down to personal oppinion I was talking to a fourth year med student a few days ago, and he said if I've got one piece of advice for you go to one of the UMAT courses. I just think that If I can afford the money than whats the harm you know?
I understand what you are saying but I believe in OP's case the chance that the uac will take one unit of Legal and one unit of Music is slim to none. If push came to shove I would guess that he will get a higher ATAR from legal if he remains consistent to his marks internally!
Of course I'm not doubting OP's ability at all however I think its important that people don't overcompensate their marks when they could be doing even better!
When you say your getting 85-90% is that for prelim or past papers etc. Also if you are doing the hsc exams and you're getting 85-90% I say keep going because a mark like that in the hsc probably would get you close to 95. However its possible that if your marking your own work it may be biased...
For chem I have conquering chemistry, for physics I have jacaranda physics. However I also have the excel books and I think for the price they are worth it they helped me to get 1st in my science research tasks!
As a matter of fact, I actually would like to do Medicine however in most cases you can't get accepted into med with out a very high ATAR in comparison to most other degrees, so therefore Its all well and good to say that bio is helpful/relevent to med but If I don't get the ATAR required to...
Hi friends,
As I'm about to start the HSC I'm looking for your oppinions on me keeping or dropping Biology for the HSC. I'm looking to get the best ATAR I can I don't really want to put and Arbitrary figure out there but hopefully around 95. I currently am doing 12 units next term MX2, english...
I'm going to do a few past papers in chem so I can hopefully hold 1st place, try for top 3 in physics and try my very very hardest to do well in maths ext 1 so I don't have to whinge to much to get into MX2. :P
Hi all,
I want to buy the 3 unit cambridge textbook for maths, anyway the Paperback version is sold out and there is this enhanced version thingo with a textbook in full colour print apparently. Well What I want to know is whether or not the printed textbook is exactly the same as the old...
I'm assuming that you are in australia and want to study abroad. If so hsc bio is ok. It dosen't scale as well as I would like but meh.
That said if you are in brittan now I have no Idea about bio over there :?
