Hey guys
As it seems this section of the forums is pretty much dead due to the system crash making old posts unable to be accessed, I thought I might as well start a new thread to get the ball rolling again!
So who's headed for Charles Sturt 2011?? And which courses/campuses are you hoping to...
Re: Laptop Vs Paper
If you do type your notes onto a laptop, make sure you back up your files cos if it crashes you will be up the creek without a paddle!
Actually you don't need to do the STAT for vet at wagga, as they don't focus so much on the mark. You only have to get 90 (or 85 if you are from a rural area like me) to be considered. Other than that offers are made based on interviews and questinnaires/essays. Pretty good way to do it I think...
1. Vet Science/Vet Bio @ CSU
2. Animal Science @ CSU
3. Equine Science @ CSU
4. Ag Science @ CSU
.... evidently I want to go to Charles Sturt :D
So happy I got high enough to get into vet (96.45... It seems I won't bee needing all 5 of my regional bonus points!), but now just gotta wait to see...
Hey
You posted something on a thread that I posted ages ago about vet at wagga, but because the system crashed I can'tt see the post at all.... So did u apply for vet at csu?
I so want to meet some other people who have applied! :)
Hey guys
Have to write a 2000 word speech on the following question:
"Hamlet is a text which focuses on character rather than events. What is your view? In your answer consider how Hamlet's character is developed, referring in detail to the text."
Any suggestions/tips/ideas would be great...
There is a bit like this in the biochemistry option.
They used a glass prism to split white light into the different colours. This gives the different wavelengths of the visible spectrum.

1) Well it think it is a good option, but thats just me. It depends on what you are interested in and what you already know. I do bio, chem and agriculture, so i pretty much know most of it already anyway.
2) I think it is probably one...
Okies, tis a bit hard to give you a definite answer without knowing your method and what you were trying to show by your experiment, but generally in writing up a report you should have:
* introduction - what have similar experiments shown, background research and the like. Similar to a literary...
Have been searching the internet for a solid week and can find no really useful information.
We have to do an assignment on galvanic cells (due on wednesday), and one part asks us to compare to cost of lead acid cells and vanadium redox cells.
Im thinking in terms of production costs...

Extension ag would be great!
And I really think that they should have two levels of chemistry. That way the more able students arent held back by those who don't really understand the work and are just doing the course because saying they do chem makes them sound clever...
Okey doke so for the option that you chose, its talking about the use of animals in labs. You have to talk about the ethical concerns relating to using animals to test products such as vaccines etc.
Is this a good or a bad thing? (for the animal)
Is the death of lab animals justified in trying...
