Hi! From your experience and perspective, is elements hard to grasp and memorise? Some say its what has let them down with their grades, whilst a large portion of others say they are 'easy marks'.
Hey! Yeah I'm planning to buy both cause I i try to convince myself r that I will be somewhat secured by buying them xD Plus you may want to refer to another source apart from the lecture notes to get a deeper understanding. All to their own, as some people have stated that we don't really need it.
Really? I always assumed that if one got 'equal' to the cut-off ATAR, they would be admitted into the course 100% (Besides of course medicine and other courses that have extra requirements as stated).
Hey guys,
I just want to know what kind of job opportunities there are for a graduate of a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Economics double degree.
I am more inclined to pursue a career within the Economics sphere but do not want to be specifically an economist. I somewhat had the impression...
How coincidental. I was on the macquarie university facebook page wanting to buy books from people- and i think i found OP . Lol judging from the course choice/ethnicity and hsc subs. Random. :P
Hey OP!
I've only completed one sem of Mq Comm/Law, but hopefully my limited experience will provide some insight into the degree/s.
Law 115- fairly moderate amount of readings and workload. However, I found it tremendously boring. I am not the one to sleep in a lecture, but this would have...
Thanks! I'm sorry to ask, but is there a source to confirm this, cause I don't want to be doing something wrong.
And in "My enrolment" in Estudent (the page where there is a list of all your courses in your degree), alongside the unit I'm postponing, it says "required- Year 2012- Session 2"...
Hi,
I'm doing a double degree in Comm/Law and I have foundation units for both degrees. Essentially I'm doing them in first year. I'm also doing some 100lvl subjects of my Comm major in my first year like STAT170 (finished). And may take a people and planet unit (which the university recommends...
The "higher ATAR" argument is invalid. ATAR requirements arise from demand/supply of the course, which may link to the location of the university.
UTS is in the city. Macquarie is in Ryde. Essentially, more people want to go to the city. But it doesn't in any way correlate directly to...
I may not be 100%, and I don't really think people on this forum would, so I think its best to contact Macquarie/Sydney University about this issue. But of course, for Macquarie University you are certain to! Especially with those outstanding grades of yours. Congrats!
Hi guys,
I'm having to decide what tute I want to enrol in for my upcomming law subject.
Basically, I just want to know your experiences and feedback with your law tutors. I'm tossing up with George, Catherine Greentree and Shireen Daft as my tutors next sem. I want to know which tutor would...
Lol...well that should be interesting! Im actually looking forward to it. Plus as long as you understand the content then you will be given the deserved marks. I was told for econ111 only 1% got HD. Now i know thats not true, since i got one. I guess we just have to wait and see :)
Oh ok! I'll just then change my Accounting tutorial to make sure.
I guess having 4 uni days instead of my current 3 will be alright :L
Do you know when we can change our timetables yet? (as estudent is not allowing us to)
Yeah that's what I'm worried about for the lectures! I know from last sem's lectures and past year's ECON110 lectures every assessment is done IN-CLASS (tutorials). So that would allow me to skip the lecture. But I don't know if that is going to be the same this sem.
