I'm referring to the hsc 2 unit math we do right now. like the whole integration, differentiation, calculus stuff. I know that statistics is covered in med sci but it does not involve any of the calculus topics, right?
im doing 2 unit maths at the moment
im interested in the medical science course, and i've checked it's handbook; however, the only math related aspect is the unit called ' MATH1041 Statistics for Life and Social Sciences' . is that similar to 2 unit math? because im thinking about dropping it
is maths REALLY needed for a medical science course? (excluding usyd)
it says assumed knowledge, but it doesnt make sense since it's predominantly science based. ==
maybe the head pathologist is sexist. but in my opinion, i don't think you should worry, just do what you love; someone's ought to realise your passion for it
hey guys, i heard about this 'hsc plus' scheme that unsw offers, which gives you a maximum of 5 bonus points to your atar depending on how you went in specific subjects in the hsc
anyways, im gonna give a scenario to explain my question:
there are two people who want to get into a course with...
but that does not particularly gurantee that i make it into the masters course?
i was just asking if i were to put it as my first preference, would I have a HIGH chance of being offered this course? if i get an ATAR of 94.7. sorry if i dont make sense lol
2011 cut off: 98.7 ATAR
Lets say, you get 94.7 ATAR, however you put this as your FIRST preference, would there still be any high chance of me getting into this course ?
I have subjects that might help such as chemistry biology mathematics and advanced english
okay maybe that was too easy haha
what about:
a) show that <a href="http://www.codecogs.com/eqnedit.php?latex=\int_{2}^{k}3dx=3k -6" target="_blank"><img src="http://latex.codecogs.com/gif.latex?\int_{2}^{k}3dx=3k -6" title="\int_{2}^{k}3dx=3k -6" /></a>
b) hence find the value of k if<a...
my school is behind in this topic, so im trying to accelerate. that's why i asked this question, cause im not completely sure how to do it with confidence
