I personally found year 11 my "off" year- the year I never studied and was not bothered to do anything instead of stressing. I think it is also the fact that for some of us who cruised through years 7-10 having near-top grades, it seemed almost like something guaranteed. Also, ^yeah I agree that...
How could you find passion in your subjects if you don't actually have any passion for it at all and were forced into them?
I know that for me, I slacked off because I had no interest in the subjects that I was doing but its too late to change now.
Its so hard finding the time to exercise with so much stress from school though. I personally tell myself to exercise but always find myself too tired to do so!
Hey guys,

How important are school rankings in the actual HSC?
Also, how does the school raw mark get scaled- is that the mark that they use for the actual HSC? e.g. if I get a 93 raw mark, how do I find out my scaled school mark?
Personally, I am aiming for a state ranking for Jap continuers (Open...
I heard some people who failed year 11 but topped year 12 and some who went the other way.
For Maths, there was a guy who failed prelims but got state ranking for HSC though.
Altogether, HSC is definitely about effort.
I'm currently in year 11 and doing horribly to the point where I am considering repeating.
I failed my Maths extension 1 exam and only got 50% in English Advanced and ranked near last for EE1.
The thing is, I had health issues this year and missed out on so much school but back in years 7-10...
Its been a while since the last post on this forum but- congrats anyways.
I was just wondering, I am stuck in a similar situation here- failing year 11 in every single way possible.
Are there any tips on how you studied/what you did?
Also, did you do tutoring or did you learn it yourself?
