I leave my laptop on all the time. It's been running constantly for the past .... i dunno how many months. I give it the occassional restart, but other than that, it runs 24/7. It sometimes ticks, and sometimes makes whirring noises, but it's running fine and hasn't exploded. Hope that gives...

i second 'cutepdf' it's simple to use and works well

it will really depend on what you use your mobile for. you may use some functions more than others, and different phones/brands have their strengths in that particular function. having said that, I love pda phones. anything i-mate/o2/HTC (whoever makes those phones) they're great :)
