extension english unless you aren't doing well in advanced and want back up
Also think about how many units u want to do in the future. E.g. if u drop ext and drop something else later, would u be comfortable with 10 units?
hey!
I was thinking about going tutoring for 2u math and someone suggested intuition. Is it a good place? And are there any other suggestions ?
thank you!
(also bos has a really cute 90s/00s vibe)
Hey all!
Does anyone have any suggestions for yr 11 2U maths tutoring places? I wanted to go to Project Academy but it doesn't look like they offer 2U classes for yr11. I'm so desperate I don't care about pricing or location
Also places like Dr Du scare me (everyone is so competitive!)...
I was thinking about taking the SATs this year and I was wondering if people could give me any tips or advice on it? And is anyone taking the SAT anytime soon? Really anything would be helpful because I'm feeling a little lost.
-- Thanks! :)
For maths I recommend using two books at a time. One for theory and another for homework and math exercises. In the theory one you use it in class and it's basically going to be full of formulas and examples. The homework one is obvs for your homework! ALSO DON'T USE A LAPTOP FOR MATHS EVER <...
Hi all! These are the subjects I will be taking in 2016 and I'm wondering which textbooks would be best for them
English Adv
English Ext 1
Mathematics
Modern History
Society & Culture
Geography
Thanks in advance :)
Look at what your school prefers and see what you would be needing it for. If you're going to be typing up long essays and such then get a laptop. If you are going to be only reviewing pdfs etc. then get an ipad.
My preference would be a laptop because it's less restrictive than an ipad.
(my late reply tho and yes eeyore is the best!)
I'm taking Latin, elective history and visual arts but I doubt I will do Latin or arts. I'm more interested in humanities but apparently our school doesn't have teachers that are very good in that area.
I applied for a law firm and got accepted. I found out about this place from my careers adviser who keeps lists of where people went in past years so I suggest you do that too! Good luck with finding work experience.
Subject selections are coming up soon and I'm still unsure about which subjects to take.
right now I'm thinking about doing:
Advanced English
Extension 1 English
Mathematics
Modern history
Any suggestions for more subjects?
Also, I'm thinking of doing 13 units but I'm worried...
My sister says that one on one tutoring is more effective but if you want an actual tutoring college I think Project Academy and Matrix look pretty good
