Dunno, sometimes it's best to just cut your original team loose and pick up all the players who will be points whores. While, i'm sure all the current top players won't all be up there, providing no huge injuries they'll still earn good points. Besides, u get 1 free transfer a week anyway...

Seem to remember Celtic beating AC Milan a year or two ago. I also remember them progressing to the knockout stages 2-3 years ago. I'm not saying the SPL is great, but if you play for either old firm then your mos likely good enough for a lower end epl team.

re: The Official Football Thread Pretty much there whole national team then ? I don't know the exact figures but id imagine ivory coast doesnt have a huge populatiob, so for many players to come through one academy isnt surprising. There is probably only a few academies anyway.

Yeah unless you can afford 2 great strikers it's usually better to go for a lone striker. stack midfield with wingers and CAM's. You can also pick up cheap DM's for your bench, people like MAscherano, Mikel, Palacios who will play a lot of games only cost about 5 points each. They usually...
