For your uni woes, you'll be told countless times that there are plenty of ways to get into your course if you don't quite meet the mark. One way is a transfer, where you go into similar course of a lower requirement for a year or so and then swap over to the one you actually want or something...

I prefer studying things off-tangents and far removed from the actual topic of study, while it is incredibly irrelevant to anything in the exams, it sure keeps my attention from wandering.

Our year advisor makes us sign forms and hands out major welfare awards and wears a suit. He probably does many more things, behind the scenes.

We went on an excursion to the Centrepoint Tower yesterday to like, eat and gawk at the scenery. And on the train home, some ununiformed boy came on and the first thing he did was take out his 4u math textbook and read it. Surely that isn't normal behavior.

Though none of us know you at all, you're not as screwed as you think you may be, I'm sure of it. The fact that you've actually put your hand up for help is a clear signal that you're willing to fix up your problems. You'll always get a bit of help if you ask for it and are willing to accept it...
