You're talking about extension 1 maths right? I reckon pretty darn high though. Probably 85-90%ish. Oh, my maths teacher told me that in extension 2 maths one year a guy got 60% in the trial and got 88% for his HSC mark. This is heaps promising. :)

Good question. As above, pen would be a safer bet. In maths you are doing sketches anyway, it's not like it needs to be really accurate and neat. But I understand where you are coming from. Pencil allows you to erase errors etc.
