You can do any engineering with whatever maths you have, but you'll struggle hard if you haven't done at least 3u. They go through stuff very quickly at uni - and if it's all new to you, then... you will be so far behind the others who are just like "lol, did this last year".

When you're doing past papers, you shouldn't need a formula sheet anyway. The point of exercises is to 'burn' the formula into you so you don't need to look up the method anymore. Like for example, I know my sin and cos and tan expansions, I know my product rule, quotient rule... etc. etc. etc...

Bachelor of Economics? Yeah... that's kind of common, not that awe inspiring.

I wouldn't call substituting back into x a "trivial computation" though.

1. Overall, they scale average - but you shouldn't consider that when making your decision. 2. You take a tutor for the ones you are the weakest in.

Your "positives" for MX2 are pretty bad, tbh. "Positives of 4U for me: - The scaling is so good. I don't need the burden of ranking 1st in 4U Maths to get a good result. - It means my 2U Result (which is scaled poorly and hence requires max rank) doesn't get counted. - Apparently, nobody ever...

It gets a bit difficult. If you're having trouble, go to consultations and PASS classes... There's a support structure. So use it!
