Yes. Believe it or not. My parents took a lax approach to what I took in the HSC, as long as I did well in what I did.

Re: B Commerce/Science(adv MATH)[UNSW] versus B Commerce/Science (USYD) - which one?H SCIF is an awesome subject for meeting people, because I met many people I otherwise wouldn't have. And never, ever, ever underestimate the strength of that.

I chose English because I knew I'd do well in it, and I chose the other stuff because I liked the subject matters and the classmates and the class atmosphere.

But I did better in English than all of them.
