    i remember big-W used to sell special locks that fit around the end of electrical plugs to stop them from being plugged in. This could be used on the broadband modem. Hiding the ethernet cable might work initially (my parents tried this), but i acquired another cable so it wasnt a problem.

    this is really what shits me off, i dont get paid past the hour - even when i close. So i've quickly learnt how to kick everyone out and close the store on time. As far as fights go, i just use the fact i'm 6'4" and tell them to remove theselves from the store otherwise ill call the police...

    He was only did general maths up to about term 2, and then he dropped out. well i think they need a non-calculator section, but yeah thats a whole different story.

    now theres the million dollar question lol Come down on open day (see signature) and decide for yourself :) However, I strongly suggest going into a college for your first year. Better community, build friendships, get involved more, and the convenience of living on campus.

    like i said it comes down to personal preference. But keep in mind, you have to buy, cook and clean everything. I only go into civic for clothes shopping + alcohol lol. $100 a week? i'm a 6'4" male so i dont think i could live off that lol.

    I think maths and English should be compulsory and count towards the UAI. I know people who can't work out 10% of $180 without using a calculator, thats just terrible. General mathematics is simple "life skills".

    I spose it really depends who is around you. - One of my neighbours is in bed by 10pm, the others are pretty good though. I'd rather be considerate and close my door at 10, then have the head of college ripping into me a few days later.

    lolz. Essentially the main rule is no noise after 10pm (so turn off subs/dont talk loudly in hallways etc). Apart from that its just normal laws- don't assualt, dont break stuff etc. You can get drunk - extremly drunk. But yeah just be considerate of others. You'll get in trouble if you start...
