A friend of mine had troubles in her life in year 11 last year, and she ended up completing the preliminary course but the school told her that she didn't have enough coming to school hours to satisfy the requirements. From what I know, you can't get bonus points in some degrees - at UNSW I think it would be Law and/or Medicine, but not 100% sure.

I also considered actuarial studies originally. Then I heard most people don't do well in their assignments and all... I'm still debating as to what degree I actually want to take still. Can't toss up which 2 of the 3 subjects I want (since any of the combinations come in double degrees). So...

Oh crap. I want to get an ATAR of 99.7+ but I'm doing IT TVET too. I wonder if I still have a chance. I'm thinking of taking up 4 unit maths next year though (my sig shows my subjects, SLR only runs for 1 year and gets dropped at the start of year 12). Thoughts? Also, if I do well on the IT...
