How does one cram? (Slightly trials realted)

Sit up all night fuelled on whatever caffine related drink is available..... NOT ADVISABLE! I have so much back-logged work to do on top of assignments (only 2 so far... for the holidays yuck!) Best thing is to work in bits and pieces. For an hour work on an assignment, take a break and go...

    who have you seen?

Other night, I saw Los Capitanes and Gyroscope with a bunch of other bands at UCU in Canberra. Los Caps were awesome! Gyroscope was a bit so-so. Last year I saw Grinspoon with the Spazzys (didn't like 'em...) and 2 others. 2004 I saw blink-182 in Canberra with Gyroscope and Sparta. A...

    Save sex?

I believe that if you can fully trust your other half then it's alright, just as long as they both agree to the act and its consequences and are emotionally and physically ready (and financially if you want to have children!). Marriage is no safe-guard against diseases which may or may not...

    Israel attacks Lebanon

Its just one of those things. The cycles of Peace and War are never ending - ingrained into human nature, no matter of race, religion or political affiliation. Its just one of those areas that could be at peace with fighting... who knows? One person's peace is another's war.

    Boudicca!!!

yeah there was one historian who was neutral from what i remember, so it obviously wasn't Tacitus as i first said. yes he is boring, but essential for an opposing view of the Iceni (which is also essential when studying a personality in history)

    Boudicca!!!

Some things to think about (i did this as my research topic in year 11) 1) Why were Boudicca's tribe upset with the Romans (besides the defiling of her daughters) 2) What did the Romans want to do in Britain 3) Are there any other events prior to this that caused the Celts of Britain trouble...

    Need Help With Syllabus

Well i did Cloudstreet, but my boyfriend did King Lear. Anyways, the basis of the module is to be able to look critically at the text. The biggest part is to form your own interpretation of the text! Go to http://hsc.csu.edu.au/english/advanced/critical_study/ This site is a good resource...

John Howard Hates the HSC English Syllabus

Maybe he should actually read the texts that we have to study (for Standard, Advanced AND Extension 1) then actually do the exams we have to do. I'm doing 3 units of English and believe me, there are enough classical text such as Shakespeare and Coleridge so the newer tests like Looking for...

    Mine Antarctica??

I know i'm probably just repeating what has been said, but: 1 - there is biodiversity on antarctica and in the waters around it. Antarctic fish (that are already overfished by morons!),whales, various varieties of lichens and frost-loving plants, seals (lepoard seals... scary!), penguins...

This morning whilst checking my email, i noticed an article on ninemsn titled "Mine Antarctica, says Barnaby Joyce" It reports that Joyce says that Australia should mine the natural recources of Antarctica before anyone else does. This will be on "Australian Story" tonight on the ABC. I would...

    2006... whose doing cloudstreet???

i loved it but the first 50 pages are hard to get into... also the confusing narrative form is hard for those not used to it. good idea is to mark out quotes that highlight the themes of food, spirituality, beliefs and things about the house, the spirits and the blackfella. makes things a...

IR reforms -- anyone been hit?

good idea is to join the union (if there is one offered where you work) i know NSW maccas do not have a union for the under-18s, whilst maccas ACT are part of SDA. I am part of SDA with target and they do a lot to help those (such as the older and younger workers) who are the ones most exploited.

    Trouble with Teachers....

My music teacher does not want anyone to be a singer in this HSC at our school. What I wanna do for my HSC in music is to play 2 flute pieces and have a vocal piece (my 4th option is a Viva). How can one do musicals on a flute without a band playing the rest of it? I really wanna do musicals and...

    Aural Help

Best way i found is to jot some things down when you first listen to the music and then form an answer around that! A little bit of knowing the concepts doesn't go astray either.....
