Do the colleges have some sort of initiation thing for freshers? I've heard they do, and that some of them can get pretty out of hand. Can anyone give a list/summary or something?

I'm doing German resistance to Hitler/Nazism. It's really hard to find information though, at least in English. I really thought they'd publicise the resistance movement more. I mean, wouldn't you be proud of it? Oh well, I'll persevere.
