the way the coil was wound looked ok to me i did look at that and was a little confused but i was forced to look for other things cause i determined it would of worked however hopefully ur right!

both side wernt north poles, one north pole was on the far side of the bar magnet therefore a South Pole closer to the coil and a magnetic field ;)

i put the magnets were wrong but they acctually wernt when u look closer ;) so i crossed that out and had. not connected to power supply. coil not connected to commuator and... umm.. brushes should be carbon not copper so they wear out and not the other thing.
