who felt like crying - THREE poems for Harwood?? (merged)

Quiet, you! I had to leave that 'restaurant' with something other than severe indigestion.

The more i hear about f' ups...

That's one of the most ridiculous theories to have been spun around this highly entertaining forum. I have impeccably high standards, but after finishing the exam to the best of my ability and doing what I feel was a very good job of it, upon coming to this forum I and others were bombarded...

To all those complaining about Section B

He's not one of those 'I love myself' people. There is a small community of us on this board who adequately prepared for this exam, and were taught ALL SIX poems. I don't know what yours said, but my trial said "At least two poems", which, to me, says 'Do three poems'. If you want...

To all those complaining about Section B

God! All these ridiculous cases of sub-standard teachers. Makes you appreciate how effective a Greek, a badger, a God, a Frenchman pretending to be English and a man who is slightly balder than every other man on earth really are.

To all those complaining about Section B

Come on DeeJay We're over the exam entirely. We need to stop dwelling on our answers. Now is the time when we laugh at the dumb fuckers who studied two poems in depth and didn't read the syllabus.

who felt like crying - THREE poems for Harwood?? (merged)

Yes. Luckily he doesn't have the tendency to spend the entire lesson outlining what he will teach during the lesson. ... and whatever time is left, telling a certain member of the class to leave.

who felt like crying - THREE poems for Harwood?? (merged)

I'm confused... how did any of the people who were mortified at the prospect of three poems plan to tackle a question if a specific poem was required? If your teacher advised you to prepare the bare minimum (2 poems) then I lament the quality of teaching in some places.

To all those complaining about Section B

Well think about it... They've taught chickens to count... taught horses to clop the times table.... but has anyone taught a chimpanzee to write a sentence? It is the concept of literature that separates us from the animals. Memorisation is a ridiculous gamble to take... look at all...
